Today Finley attended her first day of pre-school.  This preschool class runs every Wednesday from today until Feb 22 from 930-1130.  It is parent optional so you can stay if you want or need to.  February 27th, she will start another class that is 12-2pm and no parents allowed.  Both classes are held at the South Fish Creek Recreational Complex or as most know it as where the Shawnessy YMCA is.

It's a tradition on my mom's side of the family to go on a twinkle tour after Christmas dinner.  It always kicks off at the Enchanted Forest followed by Berenstien Cr, Brown Cr and Murphy Cr.  I have no idea if they are crescents or not but the first part is right. The Enchanted Forest had a new lights display that was a curling game.  It was not working.  We were disappointed with this.

A few weeks ago, on a Monday evening, we all gathered on the main floor to decorate what I call our formal Christmas tree.  Greg calls it the boring one. We recently discovered Tumble Time.  The girls loved it, I loved it.  It was so much fun!!  It's held Tuesday through Friday at the Lake Bonivista Recreational Center from 930-1130 and it's only $2 per moving child.  A bunch of moms gathered there recently and we all can't wait to go back.  Well actually some have already gone back but my girls got hit with an epic flu so we had to stay home.

On Monday of Thankgiving Weekend, We met up with Greg's dad, Stepmom, Grandma Florizone and Grandpa Sharp at the Calgary Zoo. So Pearl Jam on Wednesday night was fantastic.  It was worth the 20 year wait to see them!  They played Jeremy for us in the encore which is a rarity - they never ever play it live!  And the very last song was Yellow Ledbetter which is my all time favorite Pearl Jam song. Today was dedicated to Geysers! Here we saw one go off at Firehold Lake Drive.  This is basically a driving loop with a few geysers.  There is one that is spectacular but we never managed to see it erupt. Our day started out with packing up our campsite as we were moving to a different place in the park followed by a quick hike to a place with falls but I can't find those pictures.  Our second stop was at Wraith Falls which was a few step walk from our car. We packed up the campsite and headed to Jewel Cave. We were anxious to see the similarities and differences between here and Wind Cave.  We were told by one of the Park Rangers that they were nothing alike and boy she wasn't wrong.   There is a box outside of the building that if you can fit through, you can be a caver.  Greg tried several different ways but was never successful.  Finley
