Peanut Butter + Jam Tortilla's

A while back I saw on Pinterest a fun snack for kids.  It was a tortilla shell with peanut butter, jam and banana's on it rolled up.  I pinned it with thoughts of one day doing this.

Finley wanted (as she does every single day) a peanut butter sandwich.  The bread was frozen in the deep freeze which is in the garage so I looked in the freezer in the kitchen to see what I could make for her instead.  I noticed some frozen soft tortilla shells left over from when Greg and t he girls had tacos last week.  They unthawed super fast.

Here are 3 tortilla's - one for each of us

Penelope's just had peanut butter on it.  She doesn't get jam  yet because she gets it everywhere!!

Penelope's all rolled up and cut up into pieces for her

Finley's had both peanut butter and jam.  We had no banana's so we skipped that part.

Finley's all rolled up and ready to eat

Mine was just jam because peanut butter is too sticky for me to eat right now.  The tortilla wasn't really soft so I didn't enjoy it very much.  I think one I can eat this properly :)

Penelope quite enjoyed her tortilla.

When Finley first sat down, she kept saying yucky I don't like this.  I eventually convinced her to eat one and she did.  She said they were good but hated that the jam kept running out on her hands.  As you can see, she keeps a cloth handy.  She hates, HATES dirty hands.  She would spend hours in the bathroom washing them if we would let her.

All in all, it was an ok experience.  I definitely think next time I make them they will just have peanut butter and banana in them.  Hopefully Finley enjoys that much better!
