Yesterday morning while I was cleaning up the breakfast dishes, Finley decided to colour on her sister. I had no idea it happened and Penelope must have enjoyed it because she didn't make a sound and stayed there long enough to get a lot of marker on her.
For Christmas Finley and Penelope got this box with colouring sheets and markers in them. Apparently one of them opened the box and used the markers to colour on Penelope.
I am just very thankful that Penelope had a bit of a diaper rash this morning and I switched her from her cloth diaper to a disposible one as the marker ran onto the diaper. I would not have been impressed if it had been a cloth one!!
The marker was in her belly button, her legs, toes and feet. When I emailed Greg and told him about the marker incident, he said that yesterday morning when I was at Yoga Finley asked him if she could colour on Penelope and said no. He tried to find the marker but couldn't. I found it and have since searched the entire house to find any other hidden markers she may have. Hopefully she has none hidden!! Greg was just happy it wasn't the new carpet or hardwood :)
I got all of the marker off her face but her eye looks like it has been punched. She wouldn't let me wash it off the rest of her body so I will try at bath time to get the rest off.
Silly kids I have!!
