Finley's Pink Room

I have recently become bored with Finley's bedroom.  I was really hating the brown on the bottom half of the walls.  So after much convincing, Greg finally agreed to it.  I love the new room and Finley LOVES her new pink room.  She actually calls it her pink room.

Here is a photo we took when we officially bought the house before we moved in:

As you can tell it was very beige.  With exception of the main floor and the basement, our whole house was beige.  

This is what the room looked like just before Finley was born:

Greg did a fantastic job on this room and I truly loved it until we finished Penelope's room before she came into our lives. 

This is what Penelope's room looked like after Greg finished:

Each wall is striped like this and it made Finley's room look so boring with all of the brown.  So after we finished all the main floor renovations (replacing our lino + laminate with hardwood - will blog that too), we painted her room:

All the artwork hanging on her walls is the stuff she has done at school

She got the chair rail back (the part that separates the colours) but she hasn't gotten her curtain privileges back yet.  She ripped all the board off the walls and also ripped her curtain rod off.  Greg used something different this time to put the boards back on so hopefully we won't have a repeat rip off.

The bright pink really brightens the room up!  Finley loves spending time her in her "very pink room"
