Today Finley attended her first day of pre-school. This preschool class runs every Wednesday from today until Feb 22 from 930-1130. It is parent optional so you can stay if you want or need to. February 27th, she will start another class that is 12-2pm and no parents allowed. Both classes are held at the South Fish Creek Recreational Complex or as most know it as where the Shawnessy YMCA is. Finley wasn't ready for regular pre school but I think this will be a good transition for me her
Debating on whether she wanted to go to school or not. She picked out her outfit. The boots were for going to school as she insisted on bringing her shiny black shoes.

P and I stayed a few minutes to make sure Finley would be ok. And she was. No tears, no nothing. Not even a hug but she did give me a quick kiss before running off. The class was all about popcorn and the letter P
Her first craft made without ME!! I am not entirely sure what it is. It is made out of popcorn, croutons and i think a seed of some kind and a whole whack of glue. Regardless, she was SO proud of it and it is now hanging on one of our cupboard knobs.
She had a great time at class - no accidents, no tantrums, no bad moments - just smiles and happy times!
Penelope and I got there 15mins before the class ended and were able to see her play and do some puzzles. She is already looking forward to next week. Next week is also when I go to tour 2 real preschools for her!! Crazy how time flies!!
