What's Cooking Wednesday's - Lipton Onion Pork Chops

This is what I made tonight for supper.  I found it after searching onion soup mix and pork chops on google.  Not sure why I picked the onion soup mix but I am sure glad I did.

The house smelled amazing.  I paired it with green beans and baby potatoes marinated in balsamic vinegar and sea salt.  I only hoped it would taste as good as it smelled.  I have been known for epic failures in the kitchen so it wouldn't be shocking if it didn't.

The kids and Greg both loved it.  I loved it and declared it a make again recipe - it tasted good and was easy - can't get better than that right?   As I was loading the dishwasher, Greg said to me that it was the best meal I have ever cooked.  After more than 10 years together, was this a compliment or an insult??  He laughed and said both.  After posting this on both Facebook and twitter, the majority agreed it was a compliment.

If you want to give the recipe a whirl, here is where you would find it: Lipton Onion Pork Chops

I used Great Value Onion Soup Mix instead of Liptons because it was what I had and significantly cheaper and probably not much difference when used for what I was using it for.  Very surprising that I enjoyed this seeing as how I hate onions.  But I like onion rings too.  Go figure :)

Enjoy!!
