Pinterest

So as you all know I love Pinterest.  Love it!!  And with the Pinterest App on both my iPhone and my iPad, it is easy to peruse all of the time.  It comes in handy while waiting in long line ups or in the car or just anywhere.

I often wondered how much of the stuff that was pinned was ever done by those who were pinning the items.  I knew that I just "dreamt" that one day I would do the stuff I saw....until recently.

Here are some things I have done that were seen on pinterest:

These are storage containers for craft and card making supplies.  I made them out of old formula cans, scrapbook paper + mod podge.  I did 5 already and have 2 more to go.  I really like how they turned out.

These are for halloween obviously.  The Pinterest pin had them in narrow celophane bags but I could only find wide ones so they looked funny.  I improvised and used sandwich bags and filled them a 1/4 full and they seemed to work.

Turkeys made out of hand prints.  One is P's and one is F's although I think you could probably figure it out...

On Pinterest this one was done with finger paint but Finley hates getting her hands dirty and Penelope doesn't really co-operate so we improvised.  And it was tough enough trying to trace P's hands.  There would have been paint everywhere!!

These were also requiring feet in fingerpaint.  I decided to trace the feet because it would be less messy.  this was more impossible then hand prints which is why the feet look uber funny.

This is an iced tea container (pls save for me if you buy em) that I covered in scrapbook paper and mod podge.  I store bigger bows, her hair brush and anti-tangle spray on the inside.  makes it so much easier to keep them altogether in an orderly fashion.

My craft corner was found via Pinterest as well.  It's really messy right now since I just made 6 cards yesterday.  I also have a inspiration board that has most of the cards that Gail made for us on the side of the cubby hole that you can't see.  Once I have it 100% finished, I will post better photos.  I also have a large Billy Bookcase from IKEA that houses additional craft supplies + cardmaking stuff which is below.

Our walls are not that shade of colour.  They are mango - i have no idea why they are looking like that.  But trust me they are not that bright!

I focused this photo on my pen, marker, paint brushes etc containers.  These are made out of soup cans, scrapbook paper and mod podge.  These will eventually hang on my peg board once I finish them.  They still need another coat of mod podge and a label on them.

I have also made 2 recipes that I found and have planned out Finley's birthday party which is a week from today.  I will post photos from that and of course all of the Halloween stuff that I have found on Pinterest.

I think this post was more of a need for me to show that my addiction to Pinterest is worth my time.  I think it is....Yes it definitely is!!

Happy Pinning!!
