What A Week...The Good Stuff

So yesterday I posted about all the terrible things that happened and forgot to mention the positives that came out of it.

I cleaned out our garage on Monday morning.  This was actually by accident as I just went to look for something and ended up cleaning it.  I was so proud of myself.  I think I surprised Greg when he saw it.  The shelves need to be cleaned up but it mostly all of Greg's tools + stuff so I will  need his help for that.

I also finally caught up on all of the laundry, cleaned out our pantry + the cupboard that houses all of the kids' cups, plates, bowls, tupperware etc.  For the most part, our house was clean all week - mostly because of all the time spent outside!

We also sold over $300 on kijiji selling baby stuff, the old bbq, our lawnmower + whipper snipper.  I also have a tentative sale this afternoon for $60 so this makes me very happy.

We went to Chinook yesterday to pick up my fixed macbook, bought some shorts for Finley as she needed some desperately, found a couple of Sesame Street shirts on clearance at Sears for her, signed a birthday card for Yewende who is a gorilla who turned 3 today and got a banana cupcake with chocolate icing too!  Last night I made absolutely delicious burgers and I will blog the recipe tmw - they were SO good.

Today we went to the Zoo, Lowes and then to the Farmer's Market for lunch and for some fruits and veggies.  Greg and Finley just finished making a strawberry rhubarb crisp for dessert tonight which is just going to cap off the end to a great weekend.

Also in my previous post I mentioned the greatness of Pinterest.  The website is www.pinterest.com and it is amazing.  At first I just didn't get the point of it but my friend Virginia was telling me all the ideas she got for O's birthday so I took another look and now I am addicted.  I can easily spend hours every night looking at stuff.  You can find ideas and suggestions for everything - fashion, cooking, baking, crafts, scrapbooking - you name it, it's there.  I have found a bunch of crafts that I would like to do with the kids for mother's day next year.  If you are interested in it you can sign up but you have to wait for an invitation from them or I believe I can send you one.  If you are interested and don't want to wait let me know your email and I will figure out how to send you one.
