The last two nights, we've been woken up by a screaming Finley. The first night was because she had fallen asleep with her sunglasses on and then proceeded to wake up screaming because she thought someone had turned off her lamp. Once I took her sunglasses off she realized what had happened, saw that her light was still on and got back into bed and went back to sleep.
Last night, she woke up screaming "oh-no"at 3am. Greg went into see what the problem was and it turns out her feet were uncovered by her blanket. She refuses to use a quilt or a larger blanket like the rest of us and will only use her beloved pink blanket which does not provide enough coverage as she grows. Once Greg pulled it down over her feet, which by the way, were wearing shoes - she was fine and went back to sleep.
As I was writing this post a few minutes ago, I again heard "oh no" coming from her room and it soon escalated in to screams and tears. When I went into her room, her pajama bottoms were pulled up to her knee on one leg and was pulling at it. I pulled her leg down and that wasn't it. I checked to see if her pull up leaked or if she broke a bone or something. I then noticed something hanging in the pant leg that was once pulled up. Turns out she put her cell phone down her pants. I have no idea why she did that but was more than happy when I was able to give it back to her.
Hopefully tonight will be a peaceful one because boy do i need the sleep!
I'm hoping that you're able to see the humour in these "fits" and laugh about them sooner, rather than later. If you can't, I'm at least having a good chuckle over them :)
