Random Ramblings

My to do list is like 47 pages long....ok, ok you got me, that is a slight exaggeration but it certainly feels that it is that long.  My problem is lack of motivation.  I have no motivation to do anything but lie on my couch and do nothing.  Unfortunately with a 2 and a half year old and a 7 month old this cannot be done - much.  haha

Yesterday I did manage to get to the grocery store and come home and make some baby food.  I have a blister on my index finger from so much cutting.  I will be so happy when Penelope can feed herself "real" food.  It's now sitting in muffin cups waiting to be put into baggies.  That will be done tomorrow most likely.

I organized all of the clothes that Penelope has outgrown and have ended up with 7 boxes of clothes, shoes, blankets, and other miscellaneous crap.  These will be going to Once Upon A Child on Friday morning as it is Greg's Friday off and I need help managing the kids and boxes.  I also might take in our swing and baby einstein mat as we no longer use them.

This morning I was up and ready to go early as I went to Michelle's from the South Calgary Mom + Tiny Tots to pick up the goody bag from the Easter Party we missed on Monday.  It was full of all kinds of fun stuff and am looking forward to doing some Easter crafts with Finley!

We then headed to IKEA because they finally had their kids bowls in stock.  I have been waiting patiently for the last 2 months for them to be restocked.  I bought 2 packages of bowls and a package of plates.  I also grabbed these containers in the kids section that came in 3's that had a pink, white, yellow container with attached lids that snapped shut.  I bought them to organize the girls' hair stuff and so that they are Finley proof.  I also purchased some paint brushes and what I thought was a steal in the "AS IS" Section.  I had been looking for lamps for Finley's room for awhile now but didn't want to spend oodles of money on one that she might hate in a few years.  I found a white lamp base for $5 and a pink shade for $5 and tried them together and they seemed like they worked.  I was so excited.  But when I got home, I realized that they don't work well together at all and so now I am hoping Greg can do something with it when he gets home tonight.

We made a quick stop at the dollar store to get some Easter craft supplies and a few more decorations at Finley's request.  I will blog about our decor later on.

Now I have got to fold diapers, do laundry, put laundry away, sweep + wash floors, vacuum stairs, organize bath toys, decide on supper, tidy up the bonus room and kitchen and I should be good to go - for today.  Although a lot of my to-do list has to do with being outdoors and with snow in our backyard, I can't really do anything!!!!  GO AWAY SNOW!!!!
