Last week on a cold, dreary, snowy Thursday afternoon we all headed to Walmart after Greg's dentist appointment.  We had intended to buy some eggs and cat food.  We were wandering around the toy section as we often do when we came to the bike section.  I was looking at bicycle helmets and became quite thankful that Finley fits one of her Uncle Neil's old helmets because they are a bit pricey.  Greg saw a bike and said try it out so I did and we bought it.  Along with a bike trailer for Finley and Penelope.  Nothing fancy - combine the two cost about $200.  We had looked at Chariots but holy crap they are expensive and for the amount of use it will get, cheap is fine with us!

Greg doing a tune up on my new bike.  I am sure many are surprised that it's not pink.  They had a hot pink version of my bike but I thought the teal was much more grown up.  Yes it is a women's bike before y'all ask if it is or not.  The teal is pretty, I like.

Finley and Greg down the road.....look at all that snow....2 weeks previously it was ALL GONE!!!!  Most of it is now gone after a warm few days but we have snow fall warnings in effect as we speak.  Mother Nature is seriously pissed with Calgary these days.  Pardon my language....anyways, I digress...

Unfortunately that's all the biking that got done as our weekend was super jampacked and from what I can tell, we won't get another opportunity until the weekend after Easter as we are just booked right up......hopefully mother nature gets over her problems with us soon!!!
