Last year when Finley began walking before Christmas it never occurred to me to move our nativity scene. It had sat on the same end table since I purchased it several years ago. She ended up decapitating one of the Wise Men. As you can see below, the head is beside the man. I don't think he's quite as wise....hahahaha
This year, I put the Nativity Scene on top of one of the shelves that sits beside our fireplace mantle. This way, it can't be further destroyed by Finley
And in its place on the end table where it traditionally goes, is:
If you guessed an indestructible, toddler friendly Little People Nativity Scene, you are correct!
Finley loves it and sometimes we find the camel or Joseph and Mary on top of the barn.
It was a great compromise on both our parts!

ReplyDeleteWe got it a few weeks ago at Zellers. They carry it every year. I think Toys R Us had it last year not sure about this year. Hope you find one!
