Christmas #2

On Sunday night, we decided to have our little Christmas.  We have done this every year since we moved to Calgary because there is no point in bringing presents to open and then hauling them back - especially with 2 kids!

A family present from Santa Claus!  It was a snowman made out of ice cubes for outside.  I saw it at Canadian Tire a few days ago and wanted it.  Santa is very smart!

The biggest surprise of all - A Coach Scarf.  I really wanted a new scarf but couldn't justify doing it myself so Greg went + bought me one.  I was so happy.  I love it!

It came with a doll but she only wanted stuffed animals in it last night + this morning.  However this afternoon, she was carrying her doll everywhere and pushing her around.  Perhaps this is a sign for the future?

All in all it was a great Christmas for all of us.  Finley + Penelope got a tonne of toys, lots of clothes and are busily playing with all their new things today.

Greg also got a pair of shorts, a floating roaster (regular 99.00 + i got it for 19.99 at Canadian Tire), a fancy knife + knife sharpener.  I got Jessica Seinfeld's second cookbook - DOubly Delicious which I am very excited about as I have her first one - Deceptively Delicious and I LOVE it!  I also got Jillian Michaels 6 Pack Abs and a future shop card to buy her 30 Day Shred as he couldn't find it for me.

This Christmas showed how blessed and lucky we are to have a Christmas like we do but more importantly, it showed us:  "Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen" (Thx Candi)
