Today the new Taylor Swift CD was released and I promptly purchased it from Itunes this morning. Why is this a happy day you ask? Well, Finley LOVES Taylor Swift. And by love, I mean really love. We listen to her ALL of the time and I more then desperate to hear some different songs by her.
This all started before Finley was even born. When I when on maternity leave, the new Taylor Swift song Love Story had just been released and I loved it. So I listened to it every morning when I would drop Greg off at the Train Station and every time I got into my car, I would put the burnt cd on number 1 and listen to Love Story. This same trend continued once Finley was born and it got to the point that when Finley got grouchy or cried while in the car, the only thing thing that would calm her down would be Taylor Swift. I eventually purchased the entire CD and we listened to it all the time. I then put Taylor's first 2 CD's onto one CD and kept it in our car for times when she became irritable.
This has been going for 2 years. 2 YEARS!!! So you can understand why I am desperate for new Taylor Swift. Thankfully, Finley has also gone onto love other music and musicians, Taylor is still her first love. In fact, the other day at Chinook Center, She was playing in a store and Finley heard it and started dancing in the hall and didn't stop or move until it was over!
Yay for Taylor Swift's new CD - the perfect gift to make my poor little sick Finley feel a little bit better!
