Happy 50th Mom!!!

This past weekend, my family + I gathered in Prince Albert to celebrate a 180 years of Taggart Greatness.  What does that mean you ask?  Well, it was my mom's 50th birthday, my Uncle Brian's 60th and my Aunty Faye's 70th.  It was great being with all my friends and family - many of those I haven't seen in years!

Since today is my mom's actual birthday, here are some photos that night!

The evening started upstairs in the Legion Lounge where we had supper and watched the football game. Needless to say, the night didn't start off very good since the Riders lost but Mom, Chris + Easton were happy with the outcome

Kristy, Madi, Tanner + Easton playing shuffleboard in the lounge.  None of them knew how to play but they seemed to have a good time!

The 2 birthday cakes we picked up from Costco.  I had a piece of both + have to say that the vanilla one was the absolute best.  So delicious!  I can't wait to have another

Tanner + Easton thought it was pretty awesome that they were drinking "beer" and were playing up the part as you can see.  No need to worry, it was actually coke

Greg, Aunty Debbie and Uncle Brian chatting...

The highlight of the night had to be watching the kids!  They had a blast and it was so much fun to watch

The chocolate cake once the candles were put on it.  Apparently they don't make 70 candles so we had an over the hill candle for Aunty Faye

Madi was totally the dancing queen.  The top one in the collage was Madison trying to teach Finley how to dance like she was... Finley fist pumps but she couldn't quite figure out how to do it!

As you can see from the photos above, Greg and I didn't have to much parenting while we were in SK for the weekend!  Every time I turned around someone else had the kids.  It was kinda nice at the time but it's been a battle to get them back on a routine of not being held

Pajama time for some of the kids.  They were very stylish in their brightly colored pajamas

Mom + Madi going through her birthday loot and my Aunty Sandy looking after it!

The last table to leave the party!!

A great time was had by all in attendance and my mom, Uncle Brian + Aunty Faye were so happy and appreciative of all the hard work that we did to put this party together.  Having it the legion made it that much more special and it seems to be a neutral meeting ground for family dating back before I was even born.

A special thank you to Kristy, Connie, Aunty Patsy and especially my Aunty Leslie + Aunty Sandy for everything they did to make this party the success it was.  It never would have been possible without your help!

Lastly, Happy Birthday to the best mom in the entire world!  Hope you are having a wonderful day!
